Fixing the Workspace ONE Access & UEM Integration Wizard

  1. Within Workspace ONE Access, deleted all “Built-in” IDPs.

    1. You may need to disable policies and authentication methods and network ranges in order to accomplish this.
  2. Disabled all Hub Services in UEM (you may need to do this separately from Access).

    1. Go into Hub Services.

    2. Under App Catalog, disable all Platforms and all Catalog Layout Settings and SAVE.

    3. Under Custom Tab, disable Custom Tab and SAVE.

    4. Under Employee Self -Service, disable if enabled and SAVE.

    5. Under Notifications, select GLOBAL SETTINGS and then disable notifications and SAVE.

    6. Under People, disable People and SAVE.

    7. For Digital Badge and Virtual Assistance, if you have the option to disable these, do so and SAVE.

    8. Under System Settings, disable “Enable Hub Browser Experience” (feel free to disable Introduction screens too) and SAVE.

  3. Disabled all Hub Services in Access (you may need to do this separately from UEM).

    1. Go into Hub Services.

    2. Under App Catalog, disable all Platforms and all Catalog Layout Settings and SAVE.

    3. Under Custom Tab, disable Custom Tab and SAVE.

    4. Under Employee Self -Service, disable if enabled and SAVE.

    5. Under Notifications, select GLOBAL SETTINGS and then disable notifications and SAVE.

    6. Under People, disable People and SAVE.

    7. For Digital Badge and Virtual Assistance, if you have the option to disable these, do so and SAVE.

    8. Under System Settings, disable “Enable Hub Browser Experience” (feel free to disable Introduction screens too) and SAVE.

  4. Delete the Workspace ONE UEM data from Workspace ONE Access using the DEL /SAAS/jersey/manager/api/tenants/tenant/airwatchoptin/config API. NOTE: Doing a GET with the API will show configured settings or null values if not set.

  5. Within Workspace ONE Access, re-edit and save all policy rules in all policies - including the default_access_policy_set policy and all app policies.

    1. You may need to change each of the policy rules in order to ensure they get updates.

    2. Click through each policy rule and continue saving each rule.

    3. After editing each rule, finish the wizard for modification of the Policy and click SAVE.

  6. Within Workspace ONE Access, recreate the Built-in IDP.

  7. Within Workspace ONE Access, re-edit all policy rules in all policies - including the default_access_policy_set policy and all app policies.

  8. Make sure to use the Intelligent Hub config wizard in UEM (Groups & Settings > Configurations > Intelligent Hub) instead of the Connect to Workspace ONE Access wizard in UEM (under Getting Started).
